Compensation Manager

*This role will work a Hybrid Schedule in Smyrna, GA.
Key Responsibilities
- Project management of Corporate compensation programs in Workday including annual bonus calculations, statements, payments and the annual merit cycle and compensation statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team including Workday Product, Payroll and Finance to ensure effective administration of compensation programs.
- Oversee compensation data and configuration in Workday, ensuring optimal functionality, data maintenance and integrity, responsible for ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and update of the system’s capabilities and operations.
- Provides coaching and guidance to compensation teammates to ensure consistent application of compensation programs and effective communication with HR Partners and other leaders.
- Leads compensation programs including job analysis and evaluation to include job grading, and salary structure review to ensure market competitiveness.
- Creates and maintains regular reporting and analysis of the company's compensation programs (Career Framework, Salary Structures, short-term incentive plan). Analyzes data and makes recommendations for changes and improvements in process and systems.
- Lead the salary survey administration process for annual salary survey submissions and administration of Market Pay.
- Provide expertise and guidance to HR partners; advise on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Assist in the development and communication of compensation programs, projects, and tools to HR partners and functional leaders.
- Perform modeling of various scenarios in support of compensation program design and decisions.
- Manage the administration of the Employee Stock Purchase plan; ensuring purchases are timely, interfacing between payroll, company systems and Morgan Stanley/Shareworks as required.
- Oversight of long-term incentive plan administration to include grants, vests, terminations, and other regular plan activities.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an HR related field, or equivalent job experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in Compensation.
- Prior experience managing annual compensation cycles including system configuration.
- Prior people management experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and logic skills, proven experience working with large data sets, formulating informational executive level presentations.
- Advanced excel skills and proficient in MS office suite.
- Ability to build strong relationships across different businesses and level of teammates.
- Workday compensation experience highly preferred.
- Prior equity plan administration experience at a public company highly preferred.
