Job Summary:
As a Treatment Coordinator at our online telehealth weight loss clinic, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting patients through their weight loss program. You will be responsible for conducting virtual consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, and coordinating all aspects of their care to ensure a successful and positive experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with patients via telehealth platforms to assess their weight loss goals, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with our team of healthcare providers to develop customized weight loss plans tailored to each patient's needs, preferences, and medical conditions.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate virtual appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring that patients receive timely and comprehensive care.
  • Educational Support: Provide patients with education and resources on nutrition, exercise, behavior modification, and other lifestyle factors essential for successful weight loss.
  • Support and Motivation: Serve as a supportive coach and motivator for patients, offering encouragement, guidance, and accountability throughout their weight loss journey.
  • Insurance Coordination: Verify patient insurance coverage for telehealth services, explain benefits, and assist with claims processing and billing inquiries as needed.
  • Digital Health Platform Management: Utilize our online platform to track patient progress, communicate with patients, and monitor adherence to treatment plans.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate patient records, document interactions, and assist with administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nutrition, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a telehealth or weight loss setting, is highly desirable.
  • Telehealth Skills: Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technologies, with the ability to conduct virtual consultations and communicate effectively with patients remotely.
  • Knowledge of Weight Loss Principles: Understanding of nutrition, exercise physiology, and behavioral psychology principles related to weight loss.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Ability to empathize with patients, build rapport, and provide compassionate support throughout their weight loss journey.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
