We are currently looking to fill a Shipping and Receiving Clerk with a company in Tulsa Oklahoma.

The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures relative to transportation and logistics and stays current with logistics practices. 5+ years of domestic and international shipping and receiving experience is required.

Position requires international travel so all candidates must be passport eligible.

Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday (Overtime on Friday if required)
Pay: $20-$22/hr

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing internal notification and documentation of incoming materials / product and finished / ready to ship product.
  • Process shipments (including shipping reports, sales orders, bill of ladings, hazmat shipments)
  • Responsible for general office duties, including answering the phone, filing, copying, faxing, etc
  • Responsible for receipt of supporting documents with custom coating products including customer purchase orders, daily production reports, product certifications, Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS), etc.
  • Responsible for invoicing and monthly accruals
  • Other duties as assigned

Training Requirements:
  • Continuous and on an as-needed basis
  • Annual Quality Management System Indoctrination / Refresher Training
  • Familiarization with procedures and work instructions, as needed

Qualification Requirements:
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have experience in clerical duties.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize many diverse tasks at once.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • International Shipping and HTS Codes
  • Ability to obtain a passport
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have at least five years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or materials management.
