Job Title: Patient Support Representative

Job Summary: The Patient Support Representative will be responsible for providing excellent support to our patients through various communication channels, ensuring timely follow-up, and
coordinating with multiple departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
This role requires someone with a medical background who can effectively communicate with patients and team members in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow up with patients within 24 hours of inquiry or appointment via phone, text, email, or chat using the Parlaymed patient portal.
  • Provide support to patients, addressing their needs and escalating issues to appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Generate and manage patient invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Collaborate with treatment coordinators, the shipping department, management, and Dr. Nguyen to provide a comprehensive and positive patient experience.
  • Document patient interactions and updates in the system, ensuring accurate and thorough records.
  • Proactively handle patient concerns and inquiries, offering resolutions or passing them to the correct team for follow-up.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations at all times.

Required Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Medical Assistant or an equivalent medical background.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Proficiency with patient management systems.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in customer service or patient-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
