Position Title: Warehouse Clerk Reports to: Warehouse Manager Job type: Full-timeFLSA: Non-ExemptWork authorization: United States (required)Location: Sun Valley, CA
Salary Range: $19.00 - $21.00/Hourly Purpose: Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by organizing, directing, and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals. Position Responsibilities:
  • Directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services
  • Maintaining neat, clean and organized receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
  • Complying with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with the data storage system
  • Manages BOLs, in/outbound containers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and completes necessary documentation
  • Manages warehouse work orders; delegates as necessary
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
 Required Education/Experience: 
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years’ experience in Warehousing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Systems, advanced Excel skills required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate, summarize, and present information clearly to audiences with different backgrounds and at different levels of the organization
