  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Supervise staff
  • Journal entries, general ledgers, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Direct the inventory process & cost of sales processing 
  • Cost accounting is a plus
  • Reconcile various account balances
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Month-end close processes (Bank Reconciliations, Accruals, Financial Reporting, GL Account Reconciliations, Billing, Payables, etc.
  • Year-end close processes
  • Assist with the preparation of Annual Tax Returns
  •  Process banking transactions, including wire transfers
  • Forecasts, and other fiscal planning
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks desktop 
  • Clean up accounting books
  • Special projects

Controller Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Controller in all areas of accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting 
  • Strong QuickBooks experience is required
  • Inventory Software knowledge is a plus
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
  • Cost accounting knowledge is a plus 
  • Construction industry experience is a plus
