Job Summary

At RoadSafe Traffic, we are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Technician 2 to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain safe work zones to protect workers and the traveling public.
  • Coordinate with project teams to develop and implement traffic control plans.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and train crew members on safety procedures and job duties.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2,000 hours of traffic control experience or 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • ATSSA TCT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • TMA Certification or ability to pass certification course.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
Working Conditions
  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and moving equipment.
  • Dealing with traveling public effectively and managing noise levels.
  • Regularly required to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
