We are seeking a Corporate Controller to join our growing team. This position will be in our West Palm Beach, FL corporate office.

We are seeking a Corporate Controller to join our growing team. This position will be in our West Palm Beach corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for managing and supporting the financial accounting for the company and will also be responsible for project work.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage the financial transaction processing, recording, and reporting process;
    • Directs and coordinates financial budget processes;
    • Coordinate and guide financial statement and overhead audit process
    • Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance;
    • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and other appropriate benchmarks and key performance indicators;
    • Coordinate debt service and lease payments with third-parties;
    • Oversee daily operations of the financial accounting team;
    • Assists in establishing financial accounting policies, and operating procedures
    • Coordinates with Human Resources on the processing of time sheets, expense reports and payroll activities.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA certification preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management of a professional services firm;
  • Current working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS);
  • Critical thinking, ability to identify and propose solutions to day-to-day phenomena as they occur
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems and controls;
  • Experience with BST preferred;
  • Experience creating, coordinating and achieving goals through a team of professionals;
  • Excellent computer and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
