Product Support Technician

We're growing & looking to add a technician with a customer service background to our team

Purpose:
  • Execute repairs, quality control inspections, and maintenance tasks on products as instructed by Service or Production personnel. Aid in product assembly as directed by Production personnel. Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Essential Duties:
  • Provide support for product failures and evaluate/repair returned goods (RMA).
  • · Inform management of any trending issues observed during RMA repairs or production/assembly.
  • Assist in assembly of products per schedule as designated by Service and Production Supervisor.
  • QC inspects, maintains, and repairs products per schedule as designated by supervisor or manager.
  • Properly process/document all RMA and Production as needed using the relevant software (Wrike, Netsuite, etc.)
  • Provide professional and efficient customer support to customers and distributors through various channels such as email, phone, video calls, or in-person interactions. Assist them in troubleshooting, repairing, training, and diagnosing problems with their products, ensuring a helpful and effective resolution to their issues.

Required Skills/Abilities: 
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Professional and pleasant telephone manner. 
  • Enjoys speaking with people but also a great listener.
  • Enjoys helping others and solving problems.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software. 
  • Methodical and able to take clear notes and document service activities.
  • Work independently or within a team.
  • Electrical assembly knowledge.
  • Understanding of ESD requirements. 

Goals: 
  • Accomplish all tasks within the time allotted. Complete KPIs set by managers.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team for identifying & resolving trending issues. 
  • Independently communicate with our products distributors & end users. 
  • Excellent customer service ratings.
