Location: Flower Mound, Texas

Hours: M-F: 6AM – 3PM

Essential Job Functions:

• Leads the day-to-day activities of team members employed in a warehouse
• Monitors workers' productivity, assesses their performance, inspects their work for conformance to specified standards, detects areas that need to be improved, and gives workers detailed feedback on their performance in order to make them aware and do better
• Gives training to new employees, prepares work assignments, and assigns specific tasks to each worker
• Ensures the work environment is healthy and conducive for workers to carry out their duties without subjecting themselves to any harm or danger
• Assists in interviewing and hiring qualified workers with the management approval
• Communicates company rules and regulations to workers, ensures they adhere to company policies, and takes disciplinary measures when necessary
• Keeps records of employees' attendance and performance to help management determine payment and rewards
• Ensures all work equipment is functional and available; inspects equipment to identify shortages and damages, and relates findings to management for quick resolution to enable smooth flow of operations
• Orders new equipment and supplies as directed by management, and inspects deliveries to ensure the quality and quantity is correct 
• Resolves conflicts that may arise between workers, and ensures all parties involved are treated fairly without bias
• Picks and assembles orders as indicated on the pick list in an efficient and timely manner
• Works with receiving to unload freezer items from delivery trucks in a timely manner
• Inspects received products for damage and volume accuracy and documents accordingly
• Accurately stocks inventory in the assigned warehouse location and rotates product inventory to maintain a First-IN, First-OUT (FIFO) food storage system
• Partakes in warehouse upkeep and ensures the freezer is clean and organized
• Participate in the weekly warehouse meetings 
• Attend semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend
• Provide logistics support for Company events and functions outside of normal working hours
• Other duties as required from manager
• Obligation to answer to all management as requested

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work without sitting for extended periods of time, including standing and walking
• Able to reach, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Able to handle and move up to 165 pounds assisted frequently
• Working Conditions
• Noise Level: Loud while indoors
• Required to wear company provided insulated freezer suit while in freezer
• Freezing temperatures between -55 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit  

Other Requirements:

• Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred
• Able to work weekends, holidays, afterhours, and 2nd Shift as needed 
• Has and maintains a clean driving record
• Maintains a positive attitude 
• Works efficiently independently and in a team
• Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload
• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• Minimum 1 year of general warehousing experience required
• 2+ years of freezer experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Possesses basic mathematical knowledge such as counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
• Has strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse safety procedures
• Forklift training and/or certification preferred
• Reach Truck certification preferred
• Knowledge of Japanese foods and liquors preferred
