Law Firm Litigation Legal Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Draft Engagement Letters.
- Provide Litigation Support.
- Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence including letters, memos, briefs, pleadings and reports.
- E-filing approved documents on various court portals.
- Calculating and calendaring court deadlines.
- Reviewing, proofreading and formatting documents.
- All other administrative and support tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administrative assistant experience with a LITIGATION FOCUS, working for multiple attorneys.
- State and Federal electronic court filing experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-filing systems, document management systems and billing systems.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
Adaptability:
- Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and Firm needs change.
- Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Ability to organize, multi-task, set priorities, manage time efficiently, and exhibit excellent follow-up.
Other:
- In office 4 days a week.
