Lead Installer – Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Since 2004, we’ve built a reputation for precision and craftsmanship. Now, we’re expanding and looking for a driven Lead Installer to help lead the charge.
What You’ll Do:
As a Lead Installer, you’ll be in charge of making sure every installation hits the mark—on time, safely, and up to the highest standards. You'll be the go-to person on-site, leading your team, solving problems, and making sure every piece of kitchen equipment is installed perfectly.
A Typical Day:
- Early Start: Get to the job site 15 minutes early, ready to go.
- Prep the Day: Check the plans, grab your tools, and ensure the crew has what they need (PPE, equipment, water, etc.).
- Team Lead: Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and keep things running smoothly.
- Hands-On: Operate equipment like scissor lifts and forklifts, manage safety, and follow job-specific protocols.
- Problem Solver: Communicate with management and contractors to keep things on track, solve any issues, and ensure the job progresses as planned.
- Wrap Up Right: End each day by making sure tools are secure, the site is clean, and everything is in order for the next day.
- Review the blueprints and specs, making sure everything’s getting done as per the requirements.
- Keep your crew trained and skilled—help them get better every day.
- Keep tabs on supplies and notify the Project Manager about any material needs.
- Make sure your team is sticking to safety procedures and fire code compliance.
- Maintain service logs for company vehicles and equipment, scheduling or performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Provide feedback to management and help improve our installation processes.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle any issues with care.
- Snap progress pics, upload them to cloud software, and complete a status report.
- Clean up the site, lock up tools, and prepare for the next workday.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
- Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment installations is a huge plus.
- Experience with blueprints, site plans, and construction documents.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs, push 100 lbs, and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel (with overnight stays) and work occasional weekends and evenings.
