Job Description:
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude, and demonstrate impeccable ethics and integrity.
  • Supports the Resident Wellness Director in ensuring that the Wellness Department follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Uses company tools systems and processes as established to ensure consistency in the quality of Resident care, departmental operation, communication, and safety.
  • Assists in the planning and exchange of information with other health professionals to assess Resident care needs.
  • Provides physical and emotional support to all Residents including administering medication, measuring and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, etc.
  • Is in charge of shift; supervises Wellness team members; determines shift assignments, provides instruction to Wellness team members, and ensures care is provided as instructed.
  • Ensures communication between shifts.
  • Provides corrective feedback and disciplines Wellness team members and participates in performance review process from the perspective of supervisor for Wellness team members.
  • Observes, documents, and reports significant changes in Residents' conditions. Completes monthly summary to reflect Resident status.
  • Completes all required electronic documentation in a timely manner in Move N.
  • Assists with Resident admissions, transfers and discharges.
  • Assists physician and Registered Nurse with specialized procedures as needed.
  • Facilitates Residents in getting to and from social, recreational or other functions.
  • Follows all company policies and state regulations regarding medication management including receipt, storage, administration, disposition, destruction, and documentation.
  • Verifies and stores medications upon receipt.
  • Accepts call-offs from Wellness team members and when in charge of residence from hourly staff of all departments; replaces call-offs and modifies schedule to ensure proper staffing.
  • Conducts and/or attends in-service training sessions and orientations.
  • Maintains current licensure, associated certifications, credentials, and annual continuing education requirements.
  • Complete Incident/Accident Reports as needed.
  • Conducts tours in the absence of management team members.
  • Responds to Residents’ needs and respects residents' rights, privacy, and dignity while assuring residents are safe
Must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize tasks, able to work independently and as a team, and must be okay with repetition and routine work in a fast-paced environment. The position requires punctuality, dependable transportation to and from work, and reliable attendance. Must pass a background check, assessment, and drug test.

Job Types: Full-time.

Pay: $29.50 - $33.00 per hour.
