Serving clients in Oregon and Washington, Mindful Mental and Behavioral Health PLLC (MMBH) is looking for part-time and full-time Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs and CSWAs) to join our practice. Requirements include holding an active Clinical Social Worker license in the state of Oregon and completing a minimum of 18 client hours per week. We are hiring therapists interested in working remotely and therapists interested in the hybrid model. 

Mindful Mental and Behavioral Health PLLC is committed to providing a steady stream of referrals. However, to achieve our goal of connecting therapists with their ideal clients, therapists are encouraged to assist with growing their referral base and recognition in the community. Therapists must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians. Therapist will be employee status.
We Provide:
  • Flexible scheduling with the option to work 4 or 5 days per week. We do not require weekend or evening availability.
  • Competitive compensation with an opportunity to earn more if desired.
  • For associate therapists: Flat rate of $62 per clinical hour (documentation is compensated as part of the flat rate and not at the administrative rate).
  • For fully licensed therapists: Flat rate of $70 per clinical hour (documentation is compensated as part of the flat rate and not at the administrative rate).
  • Compensation for no shows at the rate of $62 per clinical hour for associate therapists and at the rate of $70 per clinical hour for fully licensed therapists.
  • Administrative rate of $20 per hour for required training, meetings, etc.
  • PTO accrued at 1 hour for every 24 client hours worked (equivalent to ~ two weeks per year).
  • 401K with up to 4% company match after six months of employment.

Clinical Social Worker Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting initial consultations to gather client information.
  • Assessing clients’ emotional and mental health needs, diagnosing and creating treatment plans to meet goals.
  • Asking questions and listening to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings.
  • Counseling clients on issues of importance to them.
  • Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when clients are in crisis. Assessing safety risk and creating safety plans.
  • Making referrals for additional care or services when required.
  • Maintaining detailed confidential records in EHR.

Clinical Social Worker Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for therapeutic treatment.
  • Coordinating care with clients’ other providers as applicable.
  • Responding to communication from team members and clients in a timely manner.
  • Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore client needs and administer treatment plans.
  • Strong oral communication skills to counsel and advise clients.
  • Problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Motivational interviewing skills to help clients make positive changes.
  • Organization skills to maintain client files and track progress.
  • Understanding of privacy, health and safety laws.
  • Computer skills to operate electronic health record, scheduling, email and word processing software.

Requirements Include:
  • Master's Degree or higher in respective field
  • Clinical Social Worker with an active and unrestricted license in Oregon 
  • Reside in Oregon or Clark County, Washington
  • No disciplinary action
  • Minimum of 18 client hours per week 
  • Fully remote and hybrid positions available
