Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC) to join our team at MaineHealth. This is a per diem position that involves evaluating the psychosocial needs of patients/clients and their families, and providing diagnostic/preventive and treatment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the psychosocial needs of patients/clients and their families
  • Provide diagnostic/preventive and treatment services, including individual, family, and group therapy
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team
  • Coordinate aftercare services and make referrals for other community services as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other health/mental health professionals to provide consultation and support
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
  • Licensure by the Maine State Board of Social Work Licensure as an LCSW or LMSW-CC
  • Two or more years of work experience in a health or mental health setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team
