  • Preparation of Audit Schedules for Year-End Close
  • Responsible for Corporate and State Tax Reporting & Filings (excluding Income Tax returns)
  • Responsible for Analysis and Maintenance of Fixed Assets Schedules
  • Entry postings and Maintenance of the Foreign Facilities Books
  • Analysis and Journal Entries for Prepaid and Advances Accounts
  • Preparation of Labor Distribution Data Each Period for Payroll Booking
  • Assistance with Various Journal Entry Adjustments as Directed
  • Assistance with A/P, A/R, and Monthly Closing Adjustments and Postings
  • Special Projects

As Necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative. Management must contact the Human Resource department of adding to or changing a significant number of duties. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Knowledge and setup of Month end closing
  • Excel and QuickBooks advanced user  
  • Ability to professionally interact, follow-up, and manage correspondence with necessary outside business contacts (government tax authorities and customers/vendors where necessary).
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and toughness.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personal and company business. 
  • Ability to create new principles.
  • Ability to use sound, logical thinking in choosing a particular course of action.
  • Ability to establish policies and procedures.
  • Ability to organize material in a convincing manner.
  • Ability to meet continuous due dates.

 MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
  • College degree with a major in Accounting
 

MINIMUM DIRECTLY RELATED JOB EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 to 5 Years of general accounting experience
 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
