Job Title: Business Development Representative
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers to achieve goals. Reaching out to and qualifying leads through outbound calling and bid sites. Receiving calls from customers and maintaining and growing existing leads. Conducting customer surveys and developing sales strategies. Meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Preparing commercial/GSA and pricing documents. Providing prompt responses to all customers. Identify potential customers. Lead generations. CRM Data Accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Representative or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
- Experience in transportation sales industry preferred.
Work Environment:
- Work involves a variety of periods of sitting, standing and walking.
