Are you an experienced technical writer familiar with working in fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environments? Are you looking for an exciting, short-term project this summer? We have the perfect opportunity for you 
ProEdit has an immediate need for a technical writer, for a project writing machine assembly procedures. We are building a team of mid-to-senior-level contract technical writers to join this project. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting subject matter expert (SME) interviews, analyzing existing documentation, and writing and updating assembly procedures. This role requires onsite visits to gather content from SMEs.
This is a great opportunity for a technical writer looking for immediate work
Core requirements include:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical writer; experience writing standard operating procedures, assembly procedures, and similar documentation.
  • Must be a self-starter who will take ownership of their work, be responsive, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with our team including project managers, other technical writers, and editors.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
