Marketing and Business Development Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing and Business Development Manager to support our law firm's marketing initiatives and business development strategies. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our firm's visibility, attracting new clients, and fostering existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the legal industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Support:
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Create and manage content for the firm's website, newsletters, social media, and other marketing materials 
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the legal sector.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop thought leadership pieces, including articles, blogs, and whitepapers.
Business Development: 
  • Support the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, pitches, and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Maintain and update client relationship management (CRM) databases.
  • Coordinate and organize events, webinars, and client seminars to enhance networking opportunities.
Analytics and Reporting: 
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports on marketing activities and business development efforts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on data analysis.
Collaboration and Team Support:
  • Work closely with attorneys and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Support the Marketing Director in various projects as needed.
  • Stay current on legal marketing trends and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and CRM software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the legal industry is a plus.
