Salesforce is hiring a Manager to join our Global Communications team to support corporate communications functions, including executive communications, issues management, strategic planning, and proactive storytelling. We’re looking for a PR pro with strong project management skills, writing skills, deep critical thinking, and executive presence. Working with top executives or public figures and/or issues management experience preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify proactive media, social media, and speaking opportunities.
  • Research, develop, and edit content, including messaging, briefing docs, speeches, press releases, blog posts, social media posts, and more.
  • Lead coverage reporting, measurement, and analytics to showcase team results for key stakeholders.
  • Provide support on a variety of executive programs - including media and speaking/event prep.
  • Drive thought leadership on key narratives.
  • Support the management of and response to issues.
  • Manage external agency team resources.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in communications, ideally public relations - agency, in-house, or both.
  • Excellent research, communication, writing, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Skilled at managing up and prioritizing; self-starter who is comfortable managing their work autonomously.
  • Strong media relations and social media skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is able to multi-task, re-prioritize projects and communicate priorities to business partners.
  • Positive, flexible attitude, sense of humor and living in the moment are second nature.
  • No ego - we are a small, dynamic team and everyone pitches in to get the job done.
