To empower our growth goals, we are looking for an outstanding manager or senior manager of product marketing. Reporting to our CMO, the Manager/Senior Manager of Product Marketing will be a leader in the organization responsible for driving clear and compelling product positioning, supporting content and sales enablement. The director will also be expected to serve as an external spokesperson at events, conference and tradeshows; they will also be expected to engage with customers, industry analysts and media.


To succeed in this role, the candidate must be able to move fast. 2024 will be a big year for Legit and we have no time to waste. The candidate must also be highly collaborative – across marketing and, importantly, the organization more broadly and at all levels. We also expect this candidate to have the confidence to work independently and take intelligent risks. We welcome new ideas and creativity

Experience in cybersecurity marketing is required. The role is hybrid (home/office) with the expectation of working in our Boston office 2-3 days per week.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear, compelling and customer value-driven messaging for the Legit platform’s capabilities and use cases.
  • Lead cross functional teams (e.g., marketing, product management, sales, engineering) in driving marketing programs and launches that support our brand and ARR goals.
  • Drive all planning and execution; oversee timelines; coordinate cross-functional teams; drive post-launch analysis and reporting.
  • Engage with leaders on the executive team (e.g., CEO, CPO, CTO, CRO, CMO) to align on product marketing strategies and plans.
  • Partner closely with product management to understand and prepare for forthcoming roadmap items, and present capabilities to various constituents (e.g., customers, prospects, analysts).
  • Align with sales, sales engineering and field CTOs to both enable these teams and collect input from customers and partners that will help Legit continually improve its messaging.
  • Communicate product capabilities and benefits through a wide range of written content (data sheets, solution briefs, white papers, web content), graphics/illustrations, presentations, videos, webinars, blog posts, and more.
  • Conduct market research to help the team better understand the market landscape, our competition, and key events that may impact our business.
  • Support the demand generation team with marketing content for effective campaigns and programs.
  • Present at webinars and conferences as a spokesperson for our platform and solutions.
  • Interact with customers to capture use cases, benefits, and case studies.
  • Develop and deliver sales training content to improve sales performance.

Requirements

  • Experience with B2B SaaS products.
  • At least 8 years of product marketing experience; minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity (application security experience highly desirable).
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, as needed.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid environment with the expectation of working in our Boston office 2-3 days per week.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
