Position duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Real property inventory data collection, validation, maintenance and data integrity reporting for land, buildings and structures and linear structures within the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Southwest area of responsibility (AOR)
  • Reviewing databases for inventory and accountability
  • Conducting studies and assessments to assist in reducing costs, and improving quality, scheduling, or training programs.


The ideal candidate will have experience in federal, private or public sector collecting or developing data; Organizing & maintaining electronic data files or libraries; Experience utilizing Microsoft applications, such as Excel or other database software programs.


* Partial telework may be available, subject to needs of the mission.


** The position requires some travel; however, most installations are located in the Southern CA area.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of GPA of 3.0 (rounded from 2.95) in Business, Data Analysis, Accounting or related field.
  • Must hold U.S. Citizenship
  • Aged 18 or older at time of hire
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
