Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy
    • Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for imaging
    • Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision
    • Adjust scan parameters as needed to ensure optimal results
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Maintain equipment in good working order
    • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
    • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality control procedures
  • Department Support
    • Assist with maintaining imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
    • Assist with training new associates and provide technical expertise
Requirements
  • Knowledge of PET/CT imaging procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records
