We are also working towards an ambitious goal of creating an additional 20,000 housing units by 2035


We are looking for an Entity Compliance and Formation Associate to support the Finance and Real Estate departments in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and assisting in the formation of new corporate entities as part of our housing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the FinCEN Act 2024, including Beneficial Ownership Information filings.
  • Manage a master list of all S:US real estate-related entities, ensuring timely regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate entity formation paperwork and regulatory filings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with lender, investor, and regulatory requirements.
  • Schedule meetings, track project progress, and follow up on action items.
  • Work closely with the VP of Affordable Housing, SVP of Real Estate, and other key team members.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 2+ years of experience in a paralegal, real estate, or administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • LNYS Licensed Notary Public (required).
  • Preferred: B.A./Associate Degree, knowledge of corporate entities in real estate, and strong analytical skills.
