Business Development Director

The Business Development Director will join an established sales team at BridgeView, working with enterprise and mid‑sized clients to deliver technology staffing, executive search, and consulting services. This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role where experience, judgment, and personal style matter. What The Day to Day Looks Like Run business development your way. We’ll give you the infrastructure, the tools like HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Navigator, Fireflies, etc., and the science, but the art of execution is up to you. Meet with prospective clients (mostly via Zoom) to understand their needs and walk them through our services, using marketing materials when it makes sense. Own job requirements for contract, contract‑to‑hire, permanent, and consulting searches, and lead requirements intake calls supported by our recruiting team. Partner closely with a team of six experienced recruiters, each with 5+ years exp at BridgeView. Submit candidates to clients through a streamlined client portal that makes it easy for managers to review profiles, give feedback, and schedule interviews. Stay connected with existing clients to ensure they’re happy, anticipate future needs, and uncover new opportunities. As a senior member of the team, lead from the front, model strong sales habits, share what’s working, pioneer new techniques, and bring practical improvement to how we do business. What You Bring 6+ years of sales experience in the technology staffing industry. Proven business development success with enterprise and mid‑market clients. Comfort working directly with Director, VP, and C‑level stakeholders. A solid understanding of software and infrastructure fundamentals. Strong organization and time‑management skills – you know how to run your desk. Reliable follow‑through and attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience matters more. Why BridgeView Base salary of $85-130K, depending on experience, plus commission. Medical, dental, and vision benefits, plus a 401(k) with 4% match, fully vested from day one. Three weeks of PTO to start, an additional day of PTO each year, and unlimited PTO after 5 years. Your birthday off and a Powder Day, every year.
