Schedule: Casual Pool (as needed)
Shift: Rotating

Description:

  • Provide direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients in PACU setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to implement individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations and discharge planning.
  • Administer medications including IV medication and document clinical findings.
  • Ensure patient medical records are up to date and contain necessary information.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs and meetings.
  • Promote patient safety by identifying/reporting potential or actual patient safety concerns, and encouraging patients to participate in their own care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • 1 year of directly related experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Current RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM.
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days.

Physical Demands: Heavy work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.

Working Conditions: Chemicals and bio hazardous materials require PPE.
