Ad Sales Customer Success Manager

We’re looking to hire an Ad Sales Customer Success Manager for a streaming media company. In this role, you will manage the sales cycle from RFP submission through campaign optimization, upselling, and wrap-up while delivering proactive, consultative client service to protect and grow revenue. This client-facing position involves strategic planning, consultative selling, project management, and data-driven storytelling. You will be a key team member, providing reliable support and anticipating solutions to meet evolving client needs.
This is a project opportunity until April 2025. The hybrid role is located in New York, NY.
Ad Sales Customer Success Manager Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong client relationships to provide top-tier customer service for advertisers and agency partners.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, addressing inquiries and managing communication throughout the sales and campaign process.
- Lead RFP responses and oversee media planning across all buying platforms.
- Actively participate in client meetings, offering campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and post-campaign reviews to strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to structure campaigns that align with client KPIs and deliver expected results.
- Manage all aspects of campaign setup, launch, and activation, including creative production, asset collection, and trafficking.
- Track campaign performance, making adjustments to media plans as needed to meet client goals.
- Use insights to identify new opportunities, pitching and closing deals to grow the business.
- Handle complex projects involving cross-functional collaboration both internally and externally.
- Serve as a product expert, educating clients on current offerings and recommending optimized solutions tailored to their needs.
- Analyze and present campaign data, offering insights and actionable recommendations through compelling storytelling.
- Conduct post-campaign reviews, providing learnings and strategies to drive continued business.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely delivery of invoices.
- Adhere to established internal best practices, processes, and operating standards.
Ad Sales Customer Success Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Advertising, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital media planning or buying.
- Strong knowledge of the digital media industry, with a passion for continued growth.
- Proficient understanding of advertising performance metrics and the broader ad ecosystem.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Skilled at turning client needs into actionable recommendations that align with business goals.
- Ability to craft persuasive sales narratives using data and research.
- Organized multitasker with keen attention to detail, capable of working independently in a team environment.
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and management levels.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with CRMs, ad servers, and other digital media tools.
