Maintenance Manager - Automated Painting

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of several automated paint lines and other production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management within a plastics parts manufacturing environment, with a focus on automated systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure the efficient operation of all automated paint lines and production equipment.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated paint lines and other machinery.
  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and control costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieuy of education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a Tier 1 automotive or plastics manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with automated paint lines and other automated systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
