Location: In-person (Greater Louisville Area)

Responsibilities Include


  • Providing in-person coaching to educators and students utilizing Code To The Future’s curriculum materials
  • Leading Professional Development trainings for educators, both in person and online
  • Providing positive, ongoing, open communication and support to the team of educators you serve
  • Assessing your educators’ professional development needs and customizing your training sessions based on those identified areas for growth
  • Ensuring Code To The Future’s educational standards are clearly communicated and implemented
  • Providing guidance to help educators identify and implement solutions to address their students’ academic needs
  • Developing new curriculum and content aligned with current national content standards


Background & Skills


  • BA/BS degree and Masters degree required
  • Experience working with children
  • Solid understanding and comfortability utilizing technology such as: software, web-based applications, various operating systems, computer gaming, and tablets/mobile devices
  • Some coursework or experience in the field of computer science preferred
  • Experience with Scratch or Java is preferred
  • Some experience in designing and developing training curriculum is a plus
  • Ability and interest in traveling for work
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, written) that reflect sensitivity to your audience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Physical requirements: An employee in this position may be required to occasionally lift, move and/or set-up stacks of documents such as instructional materials, computers (desktop/laptops/tablets), projectors, flip charts and other materials used for educator professional development
