Description

The Director, Organizational Learning will lead our learning and development initiatives. As the Director, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning strategies that align with our organizational goals. They will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to identify training needs, develop learning programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.

The Director, Organizational Learning will serve as a consultative business partner to leaders to determine the right learning solutions that support behavior change related to areas of strategic importance to the company. They will partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to review and manage talent across the organization on a specified schedule with a focus on driving actionable outcomes.

In collaboration with the CHRO, the Director, Organizational Learning will continue to foster and drive diversity and inclusion efforts across the organization. Specifically, leading and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to empower diverse voices, promote education and awareness, inclusive leadership and cultural competence across the organization.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan that supports organizational objectives and enhances employee performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess training needs and prioritize learning initiatives.
  • Partner with the HR team and senior leadership to integrate diversity and inclusion into all aspects of organizational learning, talent management and development.
  • Design and implement a new manager program(s), leadership development programs, continually advance employee onboarding processes and other learning solutions.
  • Include training tied to core competencies for all leaders such as data driven approach, fact-based decision making, growth mindset, etc.
  • Develop a regular cadence to continually provide learning opportunities for all leaders on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Execute on the creation and delivery of training materials, workshops, and online courses.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, metrics, and analytics, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in organizational learning and incorporate them into our programs.
  • Partner with the HR team and senior leaders to continually evolve the talent review process and execute identified outcomes to advance our people and organization.
  • Partner with the HR team and senior leaders across the organization on the continuous evolution of performance review processes to ensure a fair and equitable evaluation and feedback process.
  • Lead and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to empower diverse voices and promote networking and professional development opportunities
  • Ensure full confidentiality and care with sensitive information.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration or related field required

Experience:

  • 6+ years of proven experience at the Manager or Director level in organization Learning, Learning and Development or similar role is required (Healthcare industry preferred)
  • Experience in a fast paced, high-growth environment required
  • Experience designing and implementing leadership development programs preferred

Licensure and/or Credentials:

  • CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) and/or CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design and learning technologies
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Detail oriented with strong follow up skills
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks at once
  • Proven ability to use a PC in a Windows environment, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT, etc.
  • Independent, focused individual able to work remotely
