Job Responsibilities for the Corporate Payroll Specialist:

  • Process weekly payroll, balance payroll files, and assist with preparation of Certified Payrolls
  • Input weekly time for employees, work on audit reports, and maintain all payroll operations by adhering to policy and procedure
  • Proactively identify and provide solutions for any payroll issues
  • Maintain and manage internal employee relations across payroll, human resources, and other departments
  • Ensure proper execution of process pertaining to payroll data, time, attendance, record keeping, and internal controls
  • Participate as a partner to assist internal and external auditors during audit process



Job Requirements for the Corporate Payroll Specialist:

  • Advanced proficiency in computer skills
  • 2+ years of experience in high volume, multi-state environment
  • CPP or FPC and construction industry preferred, not required
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Proven track record of excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
