Position Summary:

Renovo’s Business Insights Analyst will be responsible for rigorous data capture and analysis, reporting, collaboration on business strategy, and process improvement. This position requires a inquisitive and highly collaborative individual who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with a variety of different stakeholders. A top performer in this role will be highly organized, communicative and work intensely to provide actionable insights and reporting to senior leadership. A high level of data sourcing, analytical skills, and verbal/written communication skills is required for success. This position is eligible for overtime. The Business Insights Analyst will report to Renovo’s Chief Servicing Officer.

Responsibilities:

Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple sources including the company’s mortgage servicing platform, loan origination system, and financial records

Maintain and ensure the accuracy of large datasets related to loan performance, servicing activities, and portfolio trends

Develop reporting and dashboards monitoring key performance indicators and present these regularly to senior management

Perform detailed analyses of loan portfolios, payment trends, delinquencies, defaults, and customer behavior

Provide insights to management to improve servicing efficiency, reduce risks, and enhance customer service scores

Identify trends related to default risks, early-stage delinquencies, and other performance trends

Ad-hoc reporting, research, and projects as directed by management

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, finance, or economics

2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry Capable of synthesizing information from many data sources to conduct analysis and articulate a concise recommendation

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and self-prioritize workload to meet deadlines as an individual and leader

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Vizio. Power BI preferred

Salesforce experience preferred
