Job duties:

  • Payroll – All Duties
  • Processing checks on a weekly basis for ~45 employees in Foundation
  • Receive, review, and file all payroll reports
  • Maintains payroll by collecting hours from approximately 45 employees, ensures timecard accuracy and necessary corrections. Transfers timecards from foundation mobile timecard system to primary financial software system
  • Initial setup of Human Resources enters new employee information, wages, PTO, holidays, fed and state tax withholdings
  • 401k management, withholdings, importing withholdings and employer contributions to Vanguard
  • Direct communication with employees in all questions about payroll related matters
  • Health insurance management
  • Workers’ compensation and general liability management
  • Prepare for CPA end of year review
  • Payroll taxes/Qtrly taxes/941/GA state taxes
  • Process purchase orders
  • Cross train as back up support in Accounts payable
  • Month-end and year-end close out verification in double entry accounting
  • Prepare 1099s/W2s

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Foundation Accounting Software
  • Bachelor’s Degree: Accounting
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and job costing
  • 2 years payroll experience for firm 35 employees or larger
  • Bilingual is a plus (Spanish)

Site Engineering, Inc. was incorporated in the state of Georgia in 1983, with our office located in Doraville. Site Engineering is a site construction firm that works in and around the Metro Atlanta area primarily for various municipal clients. Projects include water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, storm water retention, parks, stream restoration, and grading.
