Job Description
THE POSITION:
The Quality Control (QC) Associate conducts quarantine releases and conducts quality inspections according to internal requirements and special customer procedures. The Associate also will provide QC support for investigations and product inspections. The QC Associate conducts environmental monitoring by downloading data loggers and associated temperature devices for product contained in inbound deliveries.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Performs quarantine releases.
  • Performs environmental monitoring activities
  • Inspects and verifies product.
  • Supports client launches.
  • Participates in process improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned

Expections Of The Job
  • Conducts and manages the quarantine release process
  • Performs product inspections on behalf of clients
  • Maintains records for all activities performed
  • Performs data downloads in support of temperature monitoring of transports
  • Performs sample product labeling as required
  • Writes routine reports and correspondence
  • Supports ongoing quality system programs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
  • Ability to inspect, audit, and critically assess.
  • Orientation to detail.
  • Ability to:
    • Write clearly and informatively;
    • Edit work for spelling and grammar;
    • Vary writing style to meet needs;
    • Present numerical data effectively;
    • Read and interpret written information.
  • Ability to use presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing software.

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspections. Some college preferred.
  • Experience with a forklift (cherry picker)
Physical/Mental Demands And Working Environment
The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Warehouse: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Environmental demands include walking or standing at a minimum of 80% of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasking in a busy environment. Bending, squatting, pivoting and stooping may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

MANDATED UNIFORM: khaki-colored pants, close-toed shoes, and a business casual shirt. Leggings, yoga pants, or any form-fitting stretch pants are not permitted. Shoes should be sturdy and provide full coverage, ensuring no skin or socks are visible through the shoe material. Once the probationary period has concluded (60 days) employees receive an allotment to receive customized EVERSANA uniforms.
