Job Description

The Team

The Workflow Design Studio partners with customers to drive a 10x transformation in their digital journey. Using a lean, human-centered, and rapid prototyping approach, we co-innovate a shared vision of how ServiceNow can empower their future. The Studio operates in a cross-functional team model, bringing together Service Design Strategists, Developers, and Architects who apply Design Thinking in the pre-sales motion. By embracing our 'Lean Innovation' methodology, the Studio taps into the diverse expertise of each team member, blending the needs of users with emerging technologies and the full potential of ServiceNow to reimagine our customers' futures.

The Role

Our Team is seeking a curious and collaborative Senior Solution Architect who is a customer-facing ServiceNow expert, a ServiceNow ecosystem excavator, and a future-thinking Gen AI and emergent technologist. In this role, you will drive innovative solutions, supporting customers to co-innovate a vision to fuel their digital transformation.

This position requires a blend of business acumen and technical expertise, including the ability to architect and develop curated solutions on the Now Platform. You will collaborate closely with developers and designers to co-present tailored solutions to customers. The ideal candidate can articulate strategic vision and business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives and frontline teams.

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will collaborate with the sales, solution consulting, and ServiceNow partner teams to drive customer success in the transition to implementation through thought leadership and onboarding them to the solution. With a consultative approach, you will build trust by delivering outcome-driven solutions that align with customers' business goals. You will also demonstrate and prototype platform capabilities, identifying key requirements to create innovative prototypes for specific customer needs.

This role provides an opportunity to co-innovate with customers on their most meaningful challenges. In the solutions, you will be going both wide and deep on solutions to push the boundaries for our customers and ServiceNow.

What you get to do in this role:

  1. Work directly with customers to co-innovate solutions that push both the customer’s and ServiceNow’s boundaries using our lean co-innovation approach.
  2. Autonomy to collaborate with teammates, customers, and the account team to develop a strategic engagement that drives meaningful change and addresses the customer's business challenges.
  3. Co-deliver design thinking workshops with customers and account teams, engaging participants ranging from end-users to C-level, to drive innovation, ideation, co-creation, and solution validation on the Now Platform.
  4. As a squad member, get out to customer sites to discover first-hand the customer’s world of work to empathize and champion the end user to build relationships as a trusted partner.
  5. Work in a lean cross-functional delivery team to architect and develop viable, innovative solutions by leveraging the power of the Platform, utilizing the ServiceNow ecosystem, and exploring advancements in the AI and emergent technical landscape.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  1. 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering complex solutions.
  2. 4+ years of experience as a ServiceNow architect, implementer, or strategic platform owner - ServiceNow Platform expertise is mandatory.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline team focused on delivering high-quality output in short timeframes.
  4. Ability to quickly understand emergent/new technology through instruction and self-training.
  5. A relationship builder.
  6. Strong people skills, including active listening, reading the room, coaching, and communicating to technical and non-technical roles.
  7. Strong synthesis and written communication skills.
  8. Experience facilitating client-facing workshops to build trust with customers.
  9. Excellent time and project management skills – The squad has full autonomy to drive a successful engagement in the allotted time frame set forth with the customer and account team.
