Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified IT Director to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met. This role will be responsible for collaborating with Tropicana R&D and Supply Chain business leadership in shaping project portfolios, managing projects, and transforming supply chain capabilities through technology. A diverse background of IT with functional experience in Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Factory Operations is required. Solid grasp of SAP technologies and extended factory floor MES and Quality solutions needed. In addition, this role will support our Global R&D team and the Product Lifecycle Development tools SAP PLM (PDM and PPM).
Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Partner with the business to understand, validate and prioritize IT demand
- Assist with business case development for technology investment recommendations and ensure they support strategic business priorities
- Lead & facilitate business requirements gathering, system design and project execution for approved technology investments
- Manage the relationship with the business and be seen as a credible member of their team
- Be an escalation point for any IT service issues.
- Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies
- Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation
- Lead, influence, and collaborate across functions to drive results through formal and informal channels
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Information Technology-related discipline or Engineering; MBA a plus
- Preferred candidate will be located in Chicago, IL or broader Bradenton, FL areas
- Ability to travel to HQ (Chicago, IL) and other Global manufacturing/distribution center locations as needed (up to 25%)
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Information Technology supporting Supply Chain or working in a Supply Chain business role with heavy emphasis on technology subject matter expertise
- Manufacturing and Industrial factory/manufacturing infrastructure experience required
- SAP experience in Production Planning (PP), Material Management (MM – including Procurement), Plant Maintenance (PM) required.
- Quality Management System and MES (Wonderware) experience preferred
- R&D experience with PLM and PPM, preferably SAP
- Capable in leading complex business function design
- Deployment experience in leading change
- Ability to thrive in a fast pace agile environment with limited direction and balance competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product
- Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future
