Position Purpose:


Develop new and maintain existing websites. Meet deadlines as assigned. Responsible for domain management, hosting and email management for our clients. Provide technical support for the Studio 78 digital signage network and the company’s internal network. Position provides support for internal office projects and other duties as assigned by management.


Responsibilities:
Website Development and Web Maintenance



  • Develop and maintain websites in accordance with generally acceptable industry standards including W3C compliance. New websites or redesigns must be completed according to Studio 78’s checklists, related procedures and production schedules. Provide assistance to clients as needed. Ensure “total quality” in every aspect of the project. Full documentation about website construction is required for each project.
  • Support presales efforts with research and solutions to meet project requirements as defined by the client. Provide sales with estimates of time and costs for proposed custom solutions.
  • Participate in initial website consultation meeting as needed. Provide clients with information and recommendations used for decision making regarding their website architecture, search engine optimization, etc.
  • Perform web maintenance requests on occurrence. All new sites and maintenance changes require internal proofing and when appropriate client signoff prior to going live.

Server Administration – Liquid Web



  • Setup and maintain websites hosted by Studio 78's host provider. Ensure all aspects of each domain and website are setup accurately and tested to ensure everything is functioning properly.
  • Monitor Studio 78's hosted accounts to ensure the server's health; performance and capacity are within normal ranges. Report any concerns or problems to management.

DNS and SSL Management



  • Register, setup and maintain clients’ domains. This may include securing new domain names or transferring existing domains through our designated registrars. Ensure all data entered is accurate.
  • Coordinate the purchase and installation of SSL Certificates .

Job Qualifications:


Education: Must have a minimum of a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university, which includes extensive web development, programming, server knowledge and Network Administration., Systems Administration and SSL knowledge is also preferred.


Experience: Three years of related work experience is required. A strong background in Adobe CS4 including Photoshop is required. Must also be knowledgeable and able to build websites in PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, MS SQL, Java Script and Dreamweaver.
