Role: Principal

About the Role

The Principal Consultant role is within the Infosys Consulting unit in the Financial Services vertical of Infosys. The Infosys Consulting unit focuses on partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders of our clients to help craft and execute their strategy.

Role expects you to:

  1. Lead engagements at Financial Services firms to address some of the pressing issues faced in the industry related to Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) and controls.
  2. Lead GRC projects, including those involving Policy, Risk, Controls, Compliance, Enterprise, Incident, Vendor, Threat, Business Continuity, Audit, and Security Operations Management.
  3. Lead client and engagement teams in successfully delivering multi-tenant solutions and multiple work streams in RSA Archer or MetricStream platforms.
  4. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define technology strategy and roadmap, create work plans, define business requirements, analyze data needs and help drive QA strategy.
  5. Provide leadership and mentor junior consultants in the engagement team.
  6. Collaborate with other streams including technology delivery streams across Infosys to deliver a compelling value proposition to the client.
  7. Manage and minimize engagement risk by proactively identifying issues and recommended courses of remediation.
  8. Build client relationships towards expanding the footprint within the client organization.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. 10+ years of experience in Financial Services with at least 5 years of experience in GRC or operational risk or Controls assessment.
  3. Experience with a business consulting organization.
  4. Knowledge of operational risk frameworks like RCSA.
  5. Advanced presentation and interviewing skills with experience facilitating meetings and leading workshops.
  6. Excellent writing skills with the ability to write Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and PowerPoint presentations.
