Quality Assurance Analyst


PRIMARY PURPOSE:

We are seeking a high performing Quality Assurance professional to join our Information Services group. You will be part of a collaborative and experienced Project Delivery team, responsible for validating business critical software solutions that enable our market leading company. You will apply strong technical skills in a hands-on approach to testing solutions and will become a key part of advancing our test planning, tracking, and execution methods.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain consistent testing standards
  • Conduct manual testing for custom and vendor software
  • Responsible for generating test plans, test scripts and documenting test results
  • Work closely with application developers and business analysts in performing comprehensive software testing, including quality assurance testing of databases, integrations, functionality, reports, and documentation
  • Organize, lead, and facilitate defect triages, test case reviews and various other meetings to ensure sufficient test coverage for each system
  • Perform technical and process analysis in support of the Functional Lead
  • Provide technical support to IS and other departments, as required
  • Create various types of reference documentation such as user, technical, and operations guides
  • Demonstrate understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and general project methodologies
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills required in interviewing and conveying information between users and technical staff
  • Assist the business in the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing
  • Provide detailed status of the overall quality effort to the Project Manager


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 4 years of experience in software QA or related testing roles
  • Strong analytical skills regarding identifying potential points of application failures
  • Extensive experience with SaaS and on-premise software applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of tools, including Azure DevOps, preferred
