Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at MBV-CA LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for conducting quality assurance audits and ensuring compliance with company and customer standards.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in quality assurance, while contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily operations of equipment, including Refractometer, pH Meter, Densitometer, Timer, Water bath, Calibrated Thermometer, Zahm Nogel, NoScale, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and other related equipment.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ensure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines.
- Analyze products to ensure they meet specified attributes and perform processing system checks on a timely basis.
- Collect and store retention samples, provide production assistance in product audits, and segregate non-compliant products.
- Perform temperature testing of finished products, record analytical results, and inform supervision of any deviations.
- Review inventory of lab materials and reagents, pass on pertinent information to the following shift, and participate in quality system audits.
- High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field preferred.
- 1-year relevant experience in Production or Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changes, and demonstrate flexibility and a desire for growth.

The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical benefits, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, vision insurance, and 401(k) matching.
