How this position fits at Scrapbook.com: Full-time, In-House

As the E-Commerce Merchandiser, you will work on-site, full time, at our headquarters in Gilbert, Arizona. The mission of the Scrapbook.com E-Commerce Merchandiser is to ensure that the visual content and copy on the Scrapbook.com website receive the ideal information and inspiration needed to close the sale, while increasing conversion rates, AOV, and search rank.


Outcomes

  • Will merchandise product pages with accurate information, images, related products, and videos while applying eCommerce merchandising and SEO best practices
  • Will create a frictionless shopping experience by combining expert product knowledge and the utilization of AI to achieve the best-in-class product descriptions at lightening speed
  • Will optimize product pages (titles, descriptions, images, and keywords) to improve search engine rankings and visibility
  • Will monitor and enhance product recommendations to drive incremental revenue and increase AOV
  • Will execute the Marketing Manager’s merchandising strategies that align with promotional campaigns and product launches
  • Will assist with creating and editing images using Photoshop to visually merchandise products and pages
  • Will continuously educate themselves to be a papercrafting expert
  • Will take on other jobs as assigned

You Meet the Following Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant E-Commerce experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Merchandising preferred, but not required
  • Hands-on experience in maintaining e-commerce websites/portals
  • Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies that can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions
  • Basic SEO knowledge
  • Strong Microsoft Excel background
  • Ability to navigate basic web analytics tools (ex. Google Analytics)
  • Driven to learn with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Experience using AI writing tools preferred
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop knowledge preferred
  • Experience in or passion for papercrafting (scrapbooking or card making) preferred
