Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to determine strategies for defending clients.
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and options and recommend a course of action.
  • Prepare and file motions and pleadings in court.
  • Negotiate plea bargains with prosecutors.
  • Represent clients at hearings and trials.
  • Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare cases for trial.
  • Create and maintain client relationships.


**Requirements and Qualifications: **

  • - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • - Admitted to practice law in the state.
  • - Proven experience as a criminal defense attorney.
  • - Exceptional legal writing and drafting skills
  • - Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • - Ability to remain calm and collected under pressure.
  • - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • - Knowledge of court rules and procedures.
  • - Strong research and analytical skills.
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • - Be able to occasionally travel to out of State or county cases
