Role Description

Join our team as an Associate Electrical Engineer and play a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of technology. This position offers the unique opportunity to delve into complex challenges, applying your engineering expertise to design and coordinate hardware and software platforms working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  • PCB Schematic capture and layout for our clients and in-house projects
  • Design of manufacturing test fixtures and firmware
  • BOM management, sourcing of parts from suppliers


Qualifications


  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 1 year industry experience or robust portfolio of extracurricular work
  • Experience with PCB design and manufacturing using tools such as Altium, KiCAD, EAGLE, OrCAD
  • Experience with firmware development (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively to colleagues
  • Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Has developed and built a PCB working with manufacturers
  • Comfortable using Linux
  • Hands-on and loves to work with physical devices


This is a hybrid position, requiring in-person presence at our office in Oakland, CA.   May require occasional travel to client locations, conferences, etc.
