Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Communicate production schedules and updates to relevant stakeholders, including management and team members.
- Participate in production planning meetings and provide input on capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MRP systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
