Overview of the role: Payroll Specialist

  • Processing weekly payroll - process will be changing to bi-weekly/semi-monthly.
  • Handling multi-state payroll
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage laws. Ensure compliance with all state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Prepare and submit all required reporting and taxes
  • Accountability with answering daily emails and handling payroll situations and discrepancies for employees.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and managing data entry

Preferred Qualifications: Payroll Specialist

  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
