Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create, refine and implement a national business development strategy to identify, engage, and recruit reputable, growth-minded, and high-caliber financial advisors.
  2. Utilize industry experience and professional network to source potential advisors.
  3. Establish and develop relationships with Centers of Influence; wholesalers, third party recruiters, existing FPG Advisors, and other similar influencers.
  4. Strategic development of a digital marketing initiative to further promote FPG brand awareness and market penetration.
  5. Establish strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Osaic’s home office.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective advisors, understanding their needs and demonstrating how affiliating with FPG can enhance their practice.
  7. Lead prospective advisors through the deal stage/opportunity process to ensure seamless and positive experiences, partnering with and leveraging the expertise of our local Onboarding and Business Development Management Team.
  8. Gather data required from recruits ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  9. Partner with President on recruitment strategies and market positioning.
  10. Manage the entire recruit experience process alongside the local Onboarding team: agenda setting, presenters, etc.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in business development, recruitment, or sales within the financial services industry.
  2. Proven track record of successfully recruiting IARs and RIAs.
  3. Deep understanding of the financial advisory landscape and the unique needs of independent advisors.
  4. Exceptional communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Willingness to travel as needed.
  8. CRM experience mandatory.
