Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer at Spire Design & Construction located in Englewood, CO. As a Senior Interior Designer you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to interior design projects and managing various exciting commercial and model home related projects. Your role will involve collaborating with the design team, conducting client meetings, creating design concepts, developing detailed plans, selecting FF&E materials, coordinating with contractors, assisting the Design Director as needed and overseeing the successful execution of projects. This position requires strong design skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You will work with and report directly to the Director of Design as well as the President/CEO of Spire Design Studio.
Qualifications
Associate's degree (or higher) in Interior Design is Required; In addition:
- Proven experience in interior design, with a focus on Model Home Merchandising and Multi-family commercial/amenity spaces preferred
- 5+ years experience in FF&E selections
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Microsoft suite programs such as Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel
- Strong understanding of space planning principles and overall good sense of design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment as well as individually
- Attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics
- Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines
- Experience in project management and leadership roles is a plus
- Carries a positive attitude, and an 'always willing to help' mentality
- Ability to lift, carry and work longer hours on your feet during project installations
- Travel up to 15% as needed for project walks and installations
- Must currently live in the United States, have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
