OVERVIEW:
Our client, a US Fortune 1,000 company and a major process services provider to Government Health and Human services agencies in the US, seeks an accomplished “Project Coordinator (MS Project) - Sacramento, CA.”
** TITLE: Project Coordinator (MS Project)
** LOCATION: Remote in Sacramento CA (Candidate must be within 60 miles of Sacramento, CA)
** DURATION: 6 months and can be extended upon business needs
** WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: $28.00/hr.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track project progress and ensure stakeholders are aware of deadlines so that projects are completed within established schedules.
- Establish and maintain engagement across teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Ensures that all project correspondence meets client standards including proper use of words, spelling of words, and punctuation.
- Prepare work summary read outs, and status reports.Track and document lessons learned.
- Collaborate with internal team to identify project requirements, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness in addressing challenges.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline project coordination and enhance efficiency including defining systems changes to support the processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities including meeting minutes, action items and project plans.
- Maintains updated knowledge of contract compliance provisions for the project and department and meets requirements of the job position.
- Follows policies and procedures without deviation.Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
- Enter appropriate data into computer programs.
- Produce and maintain data reports and alert management of inconsistencies or issues.Perform database queries to assist with analysis and report issues when appropriate and necessary.
- Interpret, select, or code items to be entered from a variety of document sources.
- Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness.
- Undertake special projects; provide periodic and consistent information to management for each phase of the assigned project.
- Perform audits of own work and or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures.
- Participate in task-oriented groups representing the interests of the area and provide information necessary to address and resolve potential issues.
- Provide support to various project stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by executive management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience, or Associate degree with 2+ years’ experience.
- May have additional training or education in the area of specialization.
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues.
- Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Communicates on complex or sensitive issues or draft such responses for supervisor or team lead.
