About Us

We are KGS Group, an employee-owned, multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm serving clients throughout North America. We’re different than traditional engineering firms. We have the discipline to consistently deliver KGS Quality, never taking the easy way out. We always look closer and dig deeper. And no matter the project, we care enough to do it right.

Many of our core clients operate in the hydropower and water management fields. We are growing our U.S. team to continue to provide our industry-leading services to these clients. As we expand our presence in these markets, we are looking for strong candidates to join our team

  • Identify scheduling issues in advance and work with appropriate stakeholders to resolve.
  • Assist in preparing schedules related to internal KGS Group managed projects..
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to execute project deliverables, as well as ensuring that the firm’s quality control program and objectives, schedules and budgets are met.
  • Type, format, edit, and proofread documents such as reports, memos, etc.
  • Answer and transfer phone calls, take messages, and respond to various vendors associated with providing services to the office.
  • Submit prevailing wages and certified payroll.
  • Order office supplies and materials.
  • Make travel arrangements and assist with expense reports for office personnel.

About You

To fill the role, we’re looking for an applicant to bring forward a good mix of qualifications and previous experiences. Some highlights could include:

  • Working knowledge of MS-Word and MS-Excel.
  • 5+ years of experience in the consulting or project delivery industry is essential, more would be a benefit.
  • Interest in performing project management roles and tasks, as well as administrative project functions is a plus.
  • Working in an area where multi-discipline engineering design has been done would be a benefit.
  • Experience in government facilities, industrial facilities, and hydropower facilities or similar is a plus.
  • Experience with prevailing wages and certified payroll is considered an asset.
  • Have a drive, attitude, and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
  • Ability to work well with a multi-discipline design engineering team.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with interest in improving client and contractor interaction and relationship building activities.
