As a Transaction Management Director, you’ll focus on buy-side and sell-side transaction management engagements, serving dynamic organizations with experienced professionals who bring a full range of advisory services to validate, optimize and create value for the Transaction Advisory Practice – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.

Your day-to-day may include:

  1. Lead and manage transaction advisory engagements, including coordination with the Financial Due Diligence, IT, Supply Chain and Human Capital enterprise diligence teams.
  2. Provide expertise in the following:
    1. Deal Management Office support
    2. Standalone, one-time, and stranded cost assessments
    3. Synergy assessments
    4. Interdependency assessments
    5. Integration plans from high level blueprints to detailed multi-phase integration work plans
    6. Integration Management Office services
    7. Separation plans from high level separation blueprints to detailed multi-phase separation work plans
    8. Transition Management Office services
    9. Day 1 planning support
    10. Change management support
  3. Managing client relationships.
  4. Preparing clear and concise reports and presentations for clients and other stakeholders.
  5. Managing multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality work.
  6. Lead and support business development activities, including identifying new client opportunities, developing proposals, budgets, and work plans, and participating in meetings with prospective clients.
  7. Mentoring and developing junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  8. Performing detailed analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and documenting conclusions.
  9. Assisting with training sessions to support team up-skilling.
  10. Serving as a coach and mentor to other team members in support of their professional development.
  11. Meeting or exceeding targeted billing hours (utilization).
  12. Other duties as assigned.

You have the following technical skills and qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications or similar required, MBA preferred.
  2. Minimum 10 years of related work experience in management consulting or equivalent within a corporate development or transaction advisory function required.
  3. Industry recognized professional certification required, PMI/PMP, MA&P, CPMI preferred.
  4. Experience leading integration and separation work-streams required.
  5. Must be able to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, critical thinking aptitude, and experience with data modeling and/or process mapping.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  7. Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects.
  8. Can travel as needed. Expected travel is up to 50%.
